Etsy recommends width and height of at least 2000 pixels; the first listing photo should be at least 635 pixels in both dimensions. A 4:3 file at 2668 × 2001 pixels is one example that meets the recommendation, not a promised export from this tool. Etsy accepts JPG and PNG, among other formats, but does not list WebP as supported. Inspect your downloaded file and convert it if needed. Files larger than 1 MB can have trouble uploading on slow connections; this is an upload caution, not a stated maximum.

Start with a sharp photo showing the entire item. Upload it, keep the 4:3 preset, and describe only the surrounding surface, such as continuing linen and soft daylight without new objects. After generation, compare stitching, texture, labels, color, shadows, and edges with the original. Download and check actual width, height, format, and file size. Then use Etsy's thumbnail adjustment tool to preview square, portrait, and landscape views, keeping enough border around the product. Re-shoot if the source hides important product details.

Can I resize Etsy listing photos to exactly 2000 × 2000 pixels here?
This tool extends backgrounds to a selected aspect ratio; it has no exact pixel-size control. Etsy recommends at least 2000 pixels in both dimensions. Check the downloaded dimensions and use a separate editor for exact resizing. Enlarging a small file does not restore missing product detail.
Is 4:3 required for Etsy listing photos?
