Shopify says 2048 × 2048 pixels usually displays best for square product images. Product and collection image files must be smaller than 20 MB. Keep the same aspect ratio across featured product images for a consistent collection grid. Our square preset chooses a 1:1 composition; it does not set an exact output pixel size. Can I export Shopify images at exactly 2048 × 2048 pixels here?
The square preset selects a 1:1 composition, not an exact resolution. Shopify says 2048 × 2048 pixels usually displays best for square product images. Inspect the downloaded dimensions and use a separate editor if you need an exact size or a different format.
Is 1.91:1 required for Shopify banners?
There is no universal banner size promised here. Our optional Shopify Storefront Banner preset is 1.91:1. Check your theme's image guidance and preview desktop and mobile crops before using the result.
Will my product labels and colors stay exact?
Exact preservation is not guaranteed. Compare labels, logos, packaging, proportions, and color with the source before publishing. Choose ordinary resizing for an already suitable composition, or re-shoot when the original hides important product details.
